Dr. Leigh O’Neal was born and raised in Columbia, S.C. and received her B.S. in Health Science from Clemson University. She pursued her dental training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine until graduating in 2018 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University where she gained experience in trauma and surgical procedures while caring for medically compromised, special needs, and pediatric patients. She then entered the Advanced Endodontics Residency Program at The Ohio State University. This provided her with extensive training in local anesthesia, trauma, vital pulp therapy, and regenerative, surgical and non-surgical endodontics.

She and her husband, Michael, welcomed their first child, Emma, in mid 2024. When Dr. O’Neal is not in the office, she likes to spend time with her family, bake, and garden.
